House Rules
A short list of things that keep this place safe and special for everyone.
Arrivals & Goodbyes
- •Settle in any time after 3:00 PM, and we ask that you head out by 11:00 AM so we can have the home ready for the next guests.
- •Need a little extra time on either end? Just message us — we'll do our best to make it work.
- •If checkout slips past 11:00 AM without prior arrangement, a $100/hour fee helps cover our turnover team.
Who's Staying With Us
- •The home comfortably hosts up to 6 guests — please keep it to those on the booking.
- •Day visitors are welcome with a heads-up, but overnight guests should all be listed when you book.
- •We love a good gathering, but events and parties aren't a fit for this property (a $1,000 fee applies if one happens).
Furry Friends
- •We're a pet-free home — it keeps the space comfortable for guests with allergies.
- •Service animals are always welcome; please let us know in advance.
- •An unapproved pet fee of $500 applies if one stays without prior approval.
Being a Good Neighbor
- •Quiet hours run from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM — sound carries beautifully out here.
- •Three Rivers is a tight-knit little town, and our neighbors are wonderful. A friendly wave goes a long way.
- •After dark, please keep outdoor chatter to an easy, conversational level.
Fire & Safety
- •The fire pit is the only spot for open flame — and only when county burn restrictions allow (we'll let you know).
- •Please stay with any fire until it's fully out — California summers are dry and we want to keep this place safe.
- •No fireworks of any kind, anywhere on the property.
- •This is a smoke-free home — please step at least 25 ft away from any structure.
- •The fire extinguisher lives in the closet by the entrance — worth a quick glance when you arrive.
Sharing the Land with Wildlife
- •You're in the foothills — bears, mountain lions, deer, raccoons and the occasional curious rodent are all part of the neighborhood.
- •Please keep an eye on little ones and pets when they're outside.
- •Food, snacks and trash should never be left out (or in your car — bears really will open doors).
- •Always click the outdoor bins fully shut after using them.
- •Admire the wildlife from a distance — feeding them puts everyone at risk.
- •Keep doors and windows closed when you're away from the room — critters are opportunists.
Parking
- •Room for up to 3 vehicles in the designated spots.
- •RVs and trailers need a quick approval from us first.
Kitchen & Trash
- •Before you head out, please run the dishwasher or rinse any lingering dishes.
- •Bag the trash and drop it in the outdoor bins — and don't forget to latch them.
- •Those wildlife-proof bins only work when fully closed, so give the lid a firm click.
Treating the Home Kindly
- •If you signed into any streaming accounts, a quick logout before you go is much appreciated.
- •Accidents happen — please just let us know. We promise we're easy about it.
- •Furniture is arranged with care; please leave it where you found it.
- •If you're out exploring for the day, flipping off the lights and thermostat keeps things efficient.
